I am having a great week. Things are really starting to look up. First I found out that my surgery is almost approved. They only requested a letter from the surgeon that they should have already had. So, Tiffany, the lady that handles all of his stuff, sent it to them and is expecting approval this week! So then, my boss seemed a little upset that is old be gone over the holidays. I agreed to talk to the surgeon's office and see how quickly we could get it done, realistically. She said that I have some pre-op appointments that I need to do. She usually doesn't give the info out prior to insurance approval but she went a head and gave them to me. So I am seeing a cardiologist on the 13th, a pulmonologist on the 15th, and having an upper GI on the 19th. Then all I have to do is lose this last few pounds and we can do it. So I started a flush and cleanse program and am avoiding all carbs like the plague! If everything goes right, I will be having my surgery in 3 weeks!
Then there was a posting for an FA position in Gainesville which is only 30 min from my house. Well I didn't even consider applying because I am working so hard at Athens East and thought it would be wrong to apply for another position. But then, today, my boss called and said she wants me to apply. She says she can't hold me back just because she needs me. So I put in my applicant and we will see what happens. I expected to have my own clinic by this time next year, I had no idea I could be looking at the possibility already!
So how about by this time next year I could be a whole new, healthy person and be working towards my next big promotion! Things are definitely looking up!
